Although their record didn’t reflect a successful season, UTSA’s women’s tennis team battled their way into the WAC tournament.

“It was rewarding to our team to make it to postseason play by advancing to the conference tournament for the second straight season. I am proud of how our team battled, especially the last two weeks to clinch a spot in the WAC Tournament,” UTSA Women’s Tennis Head Coach Erin Scott said.

Heading to Conference USA will bring its challenges but there is plenty to be optimistic about.

“It’s something we can build on as we move ahead to another new conference next season. We will miss our seniors that left after this past year, but we have a strong nucleus of players returning.”
