10 a.m. Exhibit: “Diego Rivera in San Antonio”

The San Antonio Museum of Art (200 W. Jones St.) presents a special exhibit featuring work from renowned Chicano artist Diego Rivera. 10 a.m. Exhibit: “Constructing the Stage: Artists from the Theatre Collection”

The McNay Art Museum (6000 N. New Braunfels Ave.) brings the works of artists Timothy O’Brien, Ralph Koltai, Adrianne Lobel and Tony Straiges in the exhibit “Constructing the Stage: Artists from the Theatre Collection.” The exhibit focuses on stage production pieces from the 1970s and 80s. Commerce) presents a 1960s influenced musical titled “Suds.” Starring Jovi Gonzalez and Jonathan Pennington, this pop-eccentric musical recounts the story of one girl’s mission to find love — but here’s the catch, all of the action takes place in a laundromat. Saturday, February 1

The Blue Star Contemporary Art Museum (116 Blue Star) presents a special digital media piece from artist Thomas Isaac titled “Stardance.” The short video takes sequences from various mediums to raise the question of how humans perceive time and reality.
