Join the laughter at the annual ‘Shakespeare-on-the-walk’

The Company Theater is coming to the River Walk on April 4 and this is an event worth seeing. Held at the Arneson River Theater (418 Villita), a three-man cast production will bring all 37 plays by William Shakespeare to life – all in 90 minutes.

Benji Regan, Damian Gillen and Jared Stephens are bringing “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)” to San Antonio all the way from London. From Hamlet’s father’s ghost to Ophelia’s madness, the three actors express their passion in a way that will have the entire audience laughing.

The Company Theatre was created by Ken Bradley, Cathy Grant and cast-member Damian Gillen in 1993. Their goal, according to their website, was to produce original play scripts that were eventually made into feature films and major pictures.

Doors will open at 6:30 pm and the show will start at 7:30 pm. General admission tickets are $15. If you’re hungry, you can purchase dinner and show combo tickets for $30 in advance and $40 at the door. Seating is limited, so buy your tickets now for the three-man play.
