Hiring outlook is up for 2011 graduates

According to results of the 2011 Top Entry Level Employers survey conducted by CollegeGrad.com, "entry-level hiring is on the rise." The survey also stated that entry-level hiring is up 22 percent from 2010 hiring rates. Another survey conducted by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) indicates hiring expectations are up 19.

David J. Linden research sheds new light on addiction

"Any one of us could be an addict at any time. Addiction is not fundamentally a moral failing—it's not a disease of weak-willed losers," David J. Linden, professor of neuroscience at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD said. As part of the Mind Science Foundation Distinguished Speaker Series for 2011, Linden spoke about how research is allowing us to gain a better understanding of how pleasure affects our brain.
