UTSA men hold off rival Texas State in San Marcos

A Roadrunner 11-point halftime lead nearly disappeared at the hands of the Texas State Bobcats before the Roadrunners converted multiple last minute free throws to escape Strahan Coliseum with an 80-75 win. The Roadrunners improved to 12-7 on the season and a 5-1 Southland conference record. Sophomore forward Jeromie Hill led the Roadrunners with 24 points and 11 rebounds.

UTSA women send Texas State packing with 67-53 victory

The Roadrunners defended the court of the Convocation Center with a 67-53 victory over the rival Bobcats. The win was the seventh in a row for the Roadrunners versus the Bobcats. Leading the team was junior Cori Cooper who pitched in with 18 points and seven rebounds. UTSA improved their record to 7-11 overall and 3-2 in the Southland.
